Description
St Michael and All Angels Church is a Gothic Revival building constructed from yellow sandstone with a southwest tower topped by a shingled timber spire. Its most striking feature is the large rose window at the western end, surrounded by intricately carved panels.
History
Architect William Burges designed and built the church in 1867, with consecration on December 1, 1868. It originally served the needs of the village community during that period.
