St Oswald's Church, Grade II listed Anglican church in Warton, England
The church features a west tower reaching 62 feet in height, complemented by angle buttresses, sandstone dressings, and a pebbledashed exterior with slate roof.
The present structure dates from 1401, with substantial rebuilding in the 15th century that preserved part of the original south aisle wall.
The church maintains ties to George Washington's ancestors, displaying a Flag of Washington D.C. gifted by American soldiers in 1977.
St Oswald's Church operates as part of a United Benefice with St Mary's in Borwick and St John's in Yealand, offering regular worship services.
The building contains three historical bells from different periods - 1571, 1731, and 1782 - which remain in their original frame but cannot ring.
