Dorney Court, Grade I listed Tudor manor house in Dorney, England
The early fifteenth-century residence features wood-paneled rooms, period furniture, and extensive family portraits displayed throughout its architectural layout.
The Palmer family acquired Dorney Court in 1624 through Martha Garrard's marriage to Sir James Palmer, maintaining continuous ownership for thirteen generations.
The manor preserves numerous pieces of Restoration furniture, including a large oak table in the Great Hall bearing marks from earlier periods.
Dorney Court opens to visitors every afternoon in June from 12:30 to 4:00 PM, with private tours available for groups throughout the year.
The first pineapple grown in England originated at Dorney Court in 1661 and was presented to King Charles II.
