Opening its doors on July 23, 1949, the stadium initially served as the home ground for the Swindon Robins speedway team before introducing greyhound racing in 1952.
The stadium maintains regular greyhound racing events four times per week, continuing a sporting tradition that spans over seven decades in the Swindon community.
Located south of Lady Lane, the stadium provides ample parking space and hosts racing events every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday throughout the year.
The facility transformed part of its grounds into a car auction space when ADT British Car Auctions acquired ownership in 1997.
