The Gregson Centre, Community arts venue in Lancaster, United Kingdom.
The Gregson Centre operates as a multi-purpose facility with meeting rooms, event spaces, and a cinema room that accommodates 24 viewers.
Founded in 1889 as a memorial to Henry Gregson, former Mayor of Lancaster, the building was designed by architects Paley and Austin.
The center maintains a schedule of French cinema screenings, global dance parties, choir performances, and art exhibitions throughout the year.
The main hall accommodates 170 people, while the Olive Bar fits 90 guests, with both spaces available for public and private events.
During the 2019 lockdown, local volunteers completely restored the facility, leading to its reopening under direct management of the Gregson Community Association.
