Manchester Reform Club, Grade II* listed Victorian club building in Spring Gardens, Manchester, England.

The Manchester Reform Club is a corner building on Spring Gardens featuring sandstone walls with polychrome details in the Gothic Revival style. The three-story structure showcases elaborate turrets, oriel windows, and decorated balconies that define its prominent site.

Edward Salomons designed the building, which opened in 1871 as a meeting place for Liberal Party supporters during William Gladstone's time as Prime Minister. Its creation reflected the 19th-century political movement for reform and social change.

The Venetian Gothic design shows the influence of John Ruskin's artistic ideas, blending medieval decoration with Italian palazzo features. You can observe this mix of English craftsmanship and southern European design when walking around the building and studying its exterior details.

The building now operates as a restaurant and bar with the addition of a bookshop and cafe that opened in 2022. Visitors can enjoy these spaces while appreciating the architectural details in the restored historic interior.

Winston Churchill delivered his election victory speech from the building's ornate balcony in 1906, marking a significant moment in British politics. This connection to such a famous historical event makes the corner location memorable for those interested in political history.
