Northcott Theatre

Northcott Theatre is located on the University of Exeter campus and features a 460-seat auditorium for theatrical productions, music concerts, and comedy performances. The stage hosts a range of productions featuring both local and touring artists throughout the year.

The theatre was established in 1967 and became the first professional regional theatre in the South West of England. This founding represented a significant turning point for cultural development in the region.

The venue hosts two annual festivals where Elevate showcases artists from the South West region and Reclaim features performances by women creators. These programs offer audiences the chance to experience contemporary work from diverse perspectives.
