The stone manor house stands between the Brendon Hills and Quantocks, displaying different architectural faces from its north and west viewpoints.
The estate, originally named Orchard, traces its origins to Saxon times and became associated with the Wyndham family through Elizabeth Sydenham's marriage in 1528.
The manor maintains traditional guided tours through principal rooms, with family members sharing detailed knowledge of the house's architectural and historical elements.
Adult admission costs £12.50, while children under 14 pay £4, and groups of more than six people receive a reduced rate of £10 per person.
The estate features the Blue Grotto, an 18th-century landscape element constructed with large red sandstone blocks near the main house.
