Moel Cynghorion

Moel Cynghorion is a mountain summit in Snowdonia with an elevation of 674 meters, featuring stone paths and grassy slopes that lead to the top. The peak sits within a range of other hills and offers access from multiple walking routes in the area.

The mountain appeared on early Ordnance Survey maps as a geographical reference point. It has remained a key marker in local cartography ever since those first detailed surveys.

Local Welsh communities have incorporated the mountain into their traditional walking routes, connecting various settlements across the Snowdonia landscape.

Hikers can reach the summit from several different routes, with the parking area at Snowdon Ranger Youth Hostel being a popular starting point. The paths are generally well-marked and suitable for walkers of moderate fitness.

The mountain's position offers clear views of neighboring peaks while maintaining a distance of 1.5 kilometers from Foel Goch and 2 kilometers from Llechog.
