The Wysing Arts Centre occupies several buildings on an agricultural estate, featuring studios, exhibition spaces, and outdoor sculpture areas covering 11 acres of land.
Founded in 1989, this former farmland transformed into an arts centre through the vision of local artists who sought to create a space for creative development.
The centre operates an alternative learning program called Syllabus, which provides mentorship and collaboration opportunities for ten selected artists annually.
Visitors can access the centre by taking a bus from Cambridge city center to Bourn village, with the facility open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 AM.
The centre maintains several onsite accommodation units where artists live and work during residency periods, enabling extended artistic experimentation and research.
