St Mary's Church

The stone building features rubble masonry walls with boulder quoins, containing a nave measuring 25 feet by 13 feet and a chancel of 16 feet.

The church's foundation dates to 1101, with the nave constructed in the 12th century and subsequent modifications made to the chancel during the 16th century.

The interior preserves an octagonal gritstone font from the 15th century, along with 18th-century communion rails and original wooden bench seating arrangements.

The church stands on an elevated mound approximately 4.25 kilometers northeast of Aberffraw and receives monthly services during specific periods of the year.

Before the Black Death, the surrounding area contained 22 houses, serving as one of five chapels of ease for the local parish church.
