St Peulan's Church

St Peulan's Church features stone walls, a gabled bellcote with one bell, and iron crosses fixed on the roofs of the chancel and southern chapel.

The church construction began in 1101, with the nave dating from the 12th century and additional sections, including a chancel and side chapel, added in the 14th century.

The church holds memorials on the walls and benches in the chancel, documenting the names and stories of local community members through generations.

The Friends of Friendless Churches organization maintains the church building, ensuring its preservation and accessibility for visitors interested in religious heritage.

The church contains a rectangular font from the 11th century that historians suggest originally served as an altar, making it an exceptional pre-Norman artifact in Britain.
