Hawker's Hut, Grade II listed building in Morwenstow, England.

The wooden hut stands embedded into a coastal hillside, featuring a turf roof and offering views across the Atlantic Ocean from its clifftop position.

Reverend Robert Hawker constructed this retreat in the 1800s using timber from local shipwrecks, creating a space where he wrote poetry and observed the coastline.

The hut welcomed distinguished literary figures of the Victorian era, including poets Alfred Tennyson and Charles Kingsley during their visits to Cornwall.

Visitors can reach the hut by following the coastal footpath and ascending a short flight of steps that lead directly to this National Trust property.

At present, this carefully preserved structure holds the distinction of being the smallest property in the National Trust's collection throughout England.
