Sacred Heart Church, Liverpool

The exterior features red and yellow sandstone with decorated Gothic details designed by architect George Goldie, while the interior contains marble altar rails and multiple Stations of the Cross with angel corbels throughout.

The church was established in 1886 to serve the expanding Catholic population in Liverpool. It replaced an earlier chapel that had been operated by the Sisters of Mercy.
