Thermae Bath Spa, Modern wellness center in Bath, England
The New Royal Bath complex incorporates glass structures, Bath stone architecture, and multiple thermal pools maintained at 35.5 degrees Celsius throughout the facility.
The site reopened in 2006 after extensive redevelopment, marking the return of public access to Britain's only natural thermal springs after a 30-year closure.
The mineral-rich waters continue a bathing tradition established by Celtic tribes and Romans more than two thousand years ago in this location.
The facility provides two-hour spa sessions with robes and towels, featuring access to the rooftop pool, Minerva Bath, and Wellness Suite with steam rooms.
The rooftop pool allows guests to float in naturally heated spring water while observing the Bath cityscape and surrounding Somerset hills.

Major cities around the world feature high vantage points that allow viewing their architecture and geography. From Paris to Hong Kong, these spaces are located in hotels, cultural centers, or private establishments. The Ozone Bar is on the 118th floor of a Hong Kong tower, while the Sky Garden in London offers a public garden with views of the Thames and surrounding neighborhoods. These facilities are at varying altitudes, from the seventh floor of the Terrass' Hotel in Montmartre to towers over 200 meters in Asia. Visitors access restaurants, bars, pools, or gardens depending on the location. In Barcelona, the roof of the Mandarin Oriental combines a pool and lounge with views of Passeig de Gràcia. In Madrid, the Cercle des Beaux-Arts includes a terrace as part of its cultural offerings above Gran Vía. Budapest, Bangkok, Istanbul, and other cities also feature similar spaces, each providing a different perspective on the urban fabric, historic monuments, or waterways crossing these destinations.
