Frendraught House, Category A listed mansion in Forgue, Huntly, Scotland

The detached house spreads over 2400 square feet with a seven-window facade, harled walls, and an ashlar-faced center near Aberdeenshire's countryside.

King James V of Scotland visited Frendraught in November 1535, where he granted a charter to Sir James Crichton during his week-long stay.

The 1630 fire at the original castle resulted in multiple deaths, inspiring a Scottish ballad documented in the Child Ballads collection.

The mansion contains six rooms, three bathrooms, and accommodates twelve people, with an estimated value between £304,000 and £672,000.

Two small chamfered windows in the west gable remain as the oldest elements, while cellars below belong to the original burnt structure.
