St Saeran's Church is a medieval church building in Llanynys featuring two naves and late-medieval roof structures. The interior shows fluted timber pillars that were renewed during a 1768 restoration, along with a chapel fitted with colored glass windows and areas with plain glazing.
The building was founded in the early 6th century and served as the mother church of a large area in Dyffryn Clwyd. Over time it maintained close connections with the Bishops of Bangor.
The church holds a large 15th-century wall painting depicting Saint Christopher carrying the infant Christ, considered among the finest medieval artworks in North Wales. This mural stands out for its size and the detail that has survived over centuries.
