Emerald Park

Emerald Park is an amusement park and zoo in Kilbrew, County Meath, combining rides, animal enclosures and open spaces across a large site. The grounds are divided into several zones with different offerings, ranging from an observation tower to walk-through habitats.

A local entrepreneur opened the site in 2010 on former farmland and expanded it gradually over the following years. The facility quickly became a regional destination for families from the Dublin area.

The name refers to Ireland's green landscape and connects modern recreation with the idea of Ireland as a natural place for leisure. Visitors notice Celtic motifs appearing in the design and naming of many attractions throughout the grounds.

Admission covers rides and animal areas, with food outlets spread across the site. Most attractions are accessible in dry weather, though some sections close during winter months.

The site holds Ireland's only wooden roller coaster, which loops through trees and open ground. The zoo participates in international breeding programs for threatened species and displays animals from several continents.
