Palazzo Pretorio Museum, Art museum in Prato, Italy.
The Palazzo Pretorio Museum spans four floors within a medieval building, displaying paintings, sculptures, and historical artifacts from the 14th to 20th centuries.
The palace began its transformation into a museum in 1858, leading to the official inauguration in 1912 as a center for preserving local artistic heritage.
The museum exhibits works from notable Italian artists including Giovanni da Milano, Donatello, Filippo Lippi, and Lorenzo Bartolini, representing different artistic periods.
Each floor features multimedia displays and educational resources, while guided tours and audio guides are available at the museum bookshop.
The ground level presents an immersive video projection about the Sacred Girdle, a religious relic preserved at the nearby Prato Cathedral.
