Rocca delle Caminate, Medieval fortress in Meldola, Italy.
The fortress stands at 356 meters above sea level, featuring two brick ramparts that flank a small curtain wall within an 8-hectare park.
Built in the 10th century on a former Roman fort site, the castle underwent complete reconstruction between 1924 and 1927 in neo-medieval architectural style.
The fortress houses a modern education center offering university courses, conferences, and seminars in multiple classrooms and a multipurpose hall for 150 people.
Visitors can access the fortress on weekends from 10:00 to 19:00, with guided tours available on specific dates and group reservations required during weekdays.
A powerful lighthouse was installed at the castle to signal Benito Mussolini's presence during his time using it as a summer residence.
