Palazzo dell'ex Arsenale, Military palace in Turin, Italy
The palace features a square layout covering an entire block of 190 by 165 meters, with underground spaces and large halls designed for substantial loads.
Construction began in 1736 under military architect De Vincenti, incorporating design elements from Filippo Juvarra, and continued for over a century of modifications.
The palace houses the Italian Army Application School, serving as a center for officer training and military education since the unification of Italy in 1861.
Located at Via Arsenale 22, the building includes extensive porticos on the ground floor, restored rooms, and a library on the first floor.
The palace remains the only existing structure from the former Royal Arsenal complex and contains the Post Conflict Operation Study Center.
