Futatabi Park, National Scenic Park in Kita-ku, Kobe, Japan
The 51.5-hectare Futatabi Park features extensive walking trails, a central pond, numerous wooden benches, and green spaces surrounded by rich forest vegetation.
Established in 1937, the park earned national recognition in 2007 when it received the designation of Place of Scenic Beauty alongside its Foreign Cemetery.
The park stands as one of Japan's 100 Best Historical Parks, featuring educational programs through the Kobe Forest School that teaches visitors about forest maintenance.
Located 20 minutes by car from Sannomiya Station, the park provides free parking for 180 vehicles and includes multiple restroom facilities near Shuhogahara Pond.
A former boathouse has been transformed into Cafe Re-encounter, which offers visitors scones, coffee, and hammock rentals for relaxation among the trees.
