Nuraghe S'Urachi, Bronze Age archaeological complex in San Vero Milis, Italy.

Nuraghe S'Urachi is a Bronze Age fortified settlement near San Vero Milis in Sardinia with seven visible towers connected by stone walls in a circular defensive system. Later communities, including Punic and Roman peoples, built structures within and around this original complex.

The site was built during the Bronze Age and inhabited for centuries before Phoenician and Roman settlers arrived in the area. Initial archaeological investigations in the mid-20th century uncovered important evidence about the patterns of habitation across different periods.

The artifacts recovered from this site reveal how people crafted and used bronze and iron tools in daily life. These objects show the skill and practical knowledge of the ancient communities who lived here.

The site is located in open countryside and reached via rural paths, so sturdy shoes and water are essential items to bring. Conditions are most comfortable in cooler months when the sun is less intense.

Three additional towers remain hidden beneath the old provincial road, indicating the original fortress was far larger than what is visible today. These concealed structures suggest that archaeological exploration at this location continues to yield new discoveries.
