Kawanabe Kyosai Memorial Museum

Established in 1977, the museum occupies a converted private residence that showcases the artistic legacy of Kawanabe Kyosai, who worked during the late Edo and early Meiji periods.

Located 20 minutes on foot from JR Nishi-Kawaguchi Station, the museum opens from 10:00 to 16:00, with admission fees ranging from 300 to 600 yen depending on age.

The collection includes personal items and artwork from Kyosai's daughter Kyosui, providing insights into the family's artistic traditions and techniques.
