The National Children's Castle spans multiple floors with dedicated spaces for creative activities, including art studios, computer rooms, and performance theaters.

The National Children's Castle opened its doors on November 1, 1985, serving as a cornerstone for youth development until its closure in February 2015.

The facility embodied Japanese educational principles through specialized areas for music, featuring 1,200 instruments from around the world and dedicated performance spaces.

Located at 5-31-1 Jingumae, the center provided English-speaking staff at the information counter and maintained regular operating hours from morning until early evening.

The Play Port contained 45,000 plastic balls within its structure, while aerial nets and mazes created multi-dimensional play spaces throughout the building.
