Utsubuki-tamagawa

Utsubuki-tamagawa is a preservation district featuring traditional storehouses from the Edo period with white walls and dark wooden beams lining both sides of the Tamagawa River. The streets form a continuous view of old merchant architecture that has been maintained across generations.

The area is reachable from JR West Kurayoshi Station, and guided walks are available year-round at the tourist information center. The flat paths along the river are easy to navigate, and most areas are clearly marked.
