The Generaal Krayenhoffkazerne is a large barracks in Nijmegen with a U-shaped layout and a front spanning about 130 meters. The building displays neorenaissance style with red brick, detailed stone window frames, and a central facade with three floors, while the side sections have two stories topped with corner pavilions.
The barracks was completed in 1905 by local builders Thunissen and Kropman and was originally known as the First Infantry Barracks. It was renamed in 1934 after Dutch military officer Cornelis Krayenhoff and later served from 1951 as an Air Force training facility before ceasing military operations in 2002.
