Sint-Martinuskerk, Catholic church in Arnhem, Netherlands.

Sint-Martinuskerk is a neo-Gothic church with a three-aisled cruciform basilica structure built primarily from natural stone throughout. The distinctive hexagonal tower rises approximately 70 meters and dominates the city skyline.

Architect Wilhelm Victor Alfred Tepe designed the building, which was constructed between 1874 and 1876 following Lower Rhine architectural traditions. The construction reflects the regional design principles of that period.

The building serves as an active parish center, hosting both Catholic services and Polish community gatherings that take place throughout the week in its spaces.

Visitors can explore the interior on Saturdays when volunteers are available to share information about the building and its significance. Plan your visit for these days to make the most of the guided support and expert explanations provided.

Inside you will find a late Gothic wooden statue of Mary, showcasing skilled craftsmanship from earlier centuries. The 1890 organ built by the Gradussen brothers with 21 stops creates a distinctive sound during services and represents important organ building artistry.
