Church of the Assumption of Mary in Koronowo

The brick basilica extends 72 meters in length and features a three-nave structure with a transept and two rows of adjacent chapels.

The construction began in 1289 when Cistercian monks relocated from Byszewo to Koronowo, initially building the presbytery followed by the main corpus.

The main altar, created in 1738 by Cistercian monk Alanus Chilicki, displays a painting by B. Strobl and stands as the interior's central element.

The basilica holds regular services at 8:00, 9:30, 11:00, 12:30, 16:30, and 18:00 on Sundays, serving a congregation of nearly 12,000 members.

The church contains a collection of ten paintings from 1758 by Franciszek Remel, depicting significant events from the monastery's history.
