Sucha Beskidzka Castle

The castle consists of three wings forming a horseshoe shape, with arcaded galleries surrounding a rectangular courtyard and a clock tower in the northwest corner.

Built in 1554 by Kasper Castiglione, a Florentine goldsmith who married into Polish nobility, the castle underwent major renovations between 1608 and 1614 under Piotr Komorowski.

The Municipal Museum inside the castle presents exhibitions about regional history, while the Marshal's Hall features an ornate coffered ceiling from the baroque period.

The north wing of the castle functions as a hotel, while the remaining sections house a branch of the State Art Collections from Wawel Castle.

The castle library, established by the Branicki family in the 19th century, contained 30,000 books and 18,000 prints, drawings, and miniatures.
