Kościół Niepokalanego Poczęcia Najświętszej Maryi Panny w Warszawie, Catholic church at Plac Narutowicza, Poland

The Church of the Immaculate Conception at Plac Narutowicza is a neo-Romanesque basilica with three naves, a front tower, and side chapels. Marble altars and religious frescoes decorate the interior of this place of worship.

Construction started in 1911 under architect Oskar Sosnowski and was interrupted by World War I. The building was finally completed in 1939 after a lengthy construction period.

Inside you will find patriotic stained glass windows and religious artworks created by the Grzeskiewicz family. These pieces show how faith and national identity came together for the people who worship here.

The church is located in a residential neighborhood with several schools nearby. The location is easy to reach and well integrated into the surrounding area.

A marble statue of the Immaculate Virgin in the Lady Chapel was carved from Carrara marble by sculptor Zofia Trzcinska-Kaminska. This sculpture stands out as a notable example of artistic craftsmanship from that period.
