Kościół Niepokalanego Poczęcia Najświętszej Maryi Panny w Warszawie, Catholic church at Plac Narutowicza, Poland
The neo-Romanesque church features a three-nave basilica layout with a front tower, side chapels, and marble altars decorated with religious frescoes.
The construction began in 1911 under architect Oskar Sosnowski, faced interruptions during World War I, and continued until completion in 1939.
The interior contains patriotic stained glass windows, marble sculptures of the Immaculate Virgin, and religious artwork created by the Grzeskiewicz family.
The church stands near multiple educational institutions, including four primary schools, three middle schools, two high schools, and five kindergartens.
The marble Immaculate Virgin statue in the Lady Chapel was carved from Carrara marble by sculptor Zofia Trzcinska-Kaminska.
