Muzeum w Elblągu

The Muzeum w Elblągu is an archaeological museum displaying findings from excavations across northern Poland throughout the centuries. The exhibition occupies multiple spaces where you encounter objects from different periods that illustrate the development of human settlements in this region.

The museum was established in 1954 and built upon archaeological research conducted in the region even before World War II. Those early excavations provided the foundation for what is now displayed, creating a record of settlement patterns spanning many centuries.
