Steel mill in Samsonów, Industrial ruins in Samsonów, Poland.

The steel mill complex features multiple structures including a prominent headframe and circular blast furnace built with classicist architectural elements.

Initiated by Stanisław Staszic between 1818 and 1822, the mill was constructed on the site of a former 1598 Bergamo-type blast furnace.

The steel mill complex represents a testament to Poland's industrial development during the nineteenth century, reflecting regional manufacturing techniques.

The ruins remain open to visitors daily from 10:00 to 16:00, with free admission and parking facilities near the entrance.

The facility reached production capacity of 800 tons of steel annually before a devastating fire in 1866 led to its abandonment.
