Ciosowa, Mountain summit near Kielce, Poland.

The Ciosowa Mountain features red sandstone cliffs extending 20 meters in height and stretching approximately 70 meters across the landscape point.

From medieval times until 1975, the mountain served as a quarry where workers extracted red sandstone for sculptures, curbs, and millstones production.

The mountain forms part of the Świętokrzyskie Archaeological-Geological Trail, connecting with other geological formations in the regional network of natural landmarks.

Visitors can park their vehicles at Ciosowa 31a and follow the red Edmund Massalski trail to reach the mountain summit.

The exposed rock walls display diagonal layering patterns, current ripples, and mud coils that demonstrate the ancient wind and water depositional processes.
