Warsaw Unit, Office skyscraper in Wola, Poland
Warsaw Unit is a modern office building in the Wola district that rises 220 meters high with 45 floors above ground and 3 basement levels. The structure contains substantial office space along with multiple elevators and parking areas to serve its business tenants.
Construction began in April 2017 following the demolition of an older residential building and the structure opened in March 2021. This development marked a turning point in Wola's transformation into a modern business center.
The building's name draws from Le Corbusier's Unité d'habitation concept, bringing modernist design ideals into Warsaw's commercial landscape. This architectural philosophy shapes how the structure looks and how people move through the surrounding area.
The building sits at Daszynskiego Roundabout and is easily accessible by public transit, making it convenient for visitors and workers. Multiple entrances surround the structure, and the central location ensures consistent foot traffic throughout the day.
The exterior features a kinetic system where thousands of metal plates shift with wind currents, creating ever-changing visual patterns across the facade. This moving surface makes the building look different depending on weather conditions and the time of day.
