Park Brzeźnieński in Gdańsk, Seaside park in Brzeźno district, Poland
Park Brzeźnieński extends over 10 hectares along the Baltic coast, featuring walking paths surrounded by thousands of trees near Gdańsk beach.
The park originated in 1831 as a protective grove for a military supply route, transforming into a public green space between 1840 and 1842.
The green space received its current name in 2002 to honor Jan Jerzy Haffner, a Napoleonic Wars physician who contributed to the area's development.
Visitors can access numerous benches, walking trails, and recreational areas throughout the park, which connects directly to a 130-meter pier.
The park contains 4,860 trees, including grey alders, white willows, and silver birches, plus remnants of Prussian military fortifications from 1896.
