Palace in Kozy

The Palace in Kozy is a neoclassical building with symmetrical architecture and a semicircular projection on its northern facade. The interior spaces spread across multiple levels and feature various halls and rooms.

The original manor began as a Baroque structure at the start of the 1800s under ownership of the Rusocki family from Brzezie. It later underwent transformation that reshaped the building into its neoclassical form.

The palace underwent reconstruction around 1839 by Karol Jordan, who added a new staircase, ballroom, and transformed the garden into an English style.

The building sits in the village of Kozy at about 370 meters elevation and serves as a center for local cultural institutions today. Its location and current function make it an important stop for visitors interested in community programs.

The western section of the building houses an Evangelical chapel built in 1859 after the property owner acquired it through auction. This chapel represents a notable addition that reflects the religious significance attached to the estate.
