Kozy

Kozy is a village in the region between Kęty and Bielsko-Biała in southern Poland, spread across gently rolling terrain. The settlement consists of residential homes, fields, and historic structures that shape the landscape and organize around a central church.

The settlement was first recorded in 1326 and passed through several hands as rulers and territories changed across the region. These shifts in authority shaped how the village developed over the following centuries.

The Church of St Simon and Jude forms the heart of community life and serves as a gathering point for locals and visitors. This sacred building represents how faith has shaped the settlement's identity and daily rhythms over centuries.

An old plane tree standing in the village is among the oldest of its kind in the country and dates back centuries. Nearby, remains of an 18th-century manor house offer a glimpse into the area's past prosperity and status.
