Holy Trinity church in Tarłów, Baroque church building in Tarłów, Poland
The Holy Trinity Church in Tarłów is a brick Baroque building featuring a rectangular nave flanked by two domed chapels. Three towers of varying heights rise from the central structure and define the building's outer profile.
Construction took place between 1641 and 1647 under the patronage of Zbigniew Oleśnicki and the building was consecrated in 1655. This period marked a time of significant political upheaval in the region.
The interior features elaborate plasterwork with geometric patterns and plant designs that decorate the walls and chapels throughout. These ornaments shape the character of the space and make each visit a visual experience.
The church holds regular religious services throughout the year and welcomes visitors. Arranged tours can be organized in advance to help you better understand the architectural details.
The facade displays pairs of columns across different levels, an innovative feature from the 17th century. Two saint figures positioned on the roofline cornice give the structure a distinctive appearance at the top.
