Pavlović`s family house

Pavlović's family house is an academic-style building featuring symmetrical design, shallow segmental vaults, and a striking entrance hall. The interior contains historical documents and objects spanning six generations of the family's life in the residence.

The house was built in 1882 for Kosta St. Pavlović, who headed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During renovations in 1927, an additional floor was added to the structure.

The house served as a gathering place for royal family members, diplomats, artists, and scholars, hosting important conversations that shaped the city's intellectual life. Visitors can sense how this residence once brought together people from different walks of life.

The house is located at 39 Gospodar Jevremova Street in Belgrade's historic quarter. Visitors should take time to observe the exterior architecture and surrounding neighborhood to fully appreciate the building's character.
