Monastère Borissoglebski de Mourom

The Borisoglebski Monastery is a Russian Orthodox complex situated on the right bank of the Ushna River with multiple stone churches and traditional architectural features. The compound is organized around courtyards and contains structures that display the characteristic design of Russian religious buildings.

The monastery was established in the 11th century and experienced significant development during the 16th century under Ivan the Terrible, when multiple stone churches were built. This period shaped the fundamental appearance of the site as it exists today.
