Jubilee Bridge, Road bridge in Yaroslavl, Russia
The Jubilee Bridge is a road crossing over the Volga River in Yaroslavl with four traffic lanes and approach ramps on the right bank. It connects different sections of the city and serves as part of the regional highway network.
This bridge was built in the early 2000s to address growing traffic needs in the city. Its completion in phases improved connections across the Volga and helped ease congestion in Yaroslavl's transport system.
The bridge received its name through a public contest in 2006, where local residents submitted over 600 naming proposals for the new crossing.
The bridge sits in the northern section of Yaroslavl and connects to main roads throughout the city. Pedestrians and cyclists can cross it by using designated pathways and following safety guidelines.
The steel structures for the bridge came from two manufacturers: Kurganstalmost and Yaroslavl Plant No. 50, with construction costs exceeding 4.5 billion rubles.
