The Dolgov House is a two-story mansion from the 1700s with balanced facades and ornately decorated stone features. The building displays typical Russian architectural patterns of its time, with harmonious proportions and classical details.

The house was built in 1770 under architect Vasili Bazhenov, one of Russia's leading designers of that era. It arose during a period when Moscow's upper classes adopted neoclassical building styles.

The estate sits in Meshchansky District and can be seen after advance notification. Visitors should check beforehand, as tours of the interior require planning ahead.

The foundations and load-bearing walls still date back to the original construction of 1770 and survived many Moscow reconstructions. These oldest parts show the durability and skill of the craftsmanship from that time.
