Garden Ring museum

The original building was damaged during the French occupation of Moscow in 1812, later restored, and used as residential apartments for decades. In 1970, it was converted into a museum to preserve the history of this ancient Moscow neighborhood.

The museum's name references the Garden Ring, a famous street that has shaped daily life in this neighborhood for centuries. Inside, visitors encounter personal objects and household items that show how residents lived through different periods.
