Church of the Saints of Diveevo

The Church of the Saints of Diveevo is an Orthodox church on Prospekt Mira with multiple domes in traditional Russian style. The building serves as Moscow's branch of the distant Diveevo Monastery and is substantially larger than its historical predecessor.

Construction of the current building began in May 2008 under architect Alexander Shipkov. It replaced an earlier structure from 1909 that was located elsewhere.

The walls display icons of seventeen Diveevo saints, including bishops, new martyrs, and venerable figures. These holy figures are venerated by visitors and shape the spiritual focus of the interior space.

The church is centrally located in Moscow and easy to reach. Regular Orthodox services take place here, and visitors should prepare for standard guidelines that apply to Orthodox churches.

The building is noticeably larger than the original 1909 church and connects Moscow with the distant Diveevo Monastery. This link makes it an important spiritual center for those who feel connected to the monastery.
