Mindovsky mansion, Art Nouveau mansion in Presnensky District, Moscow, Russia
The Mindovsky mansion features curved lines, floral patterns, and stained glass windows across its two-story stone structure at Povarskaya Street.
Built in 1903 by architect Lev Kekushev, the mansion remained unsold until 1909 when merchant Ivan Mindovsky purchased this luxurious residence.
The mansion contains different interior styles in each room, combining Russian architectural elements with European Art Nouveau design principles.
The building currently serves as the Embassy of New Zealand and stands at the intersection of Povarskaya Street and Skaryatinsky Lane.
The mansion's original design included a statue of Aurora on its pediment, which will be reconstructed during the current restoration project.
