Temple Complex in Kosino

The Temple Complex in Kosino-Ukhtomsky is an architectural ensemble housing three separate churches, each with its own structure and purpose. One honors Saint Nicholas, another the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, and a third is dedicated to Saint Tikhon of Moscow.

Construction of the complex began in 1818 during a period of religious building activity in Moscow's eastern region. The three churches were built at different times, reflecting how architectural style and construction practices evolved over the decades.

The complex remains an active center for Orthodox worship and community gatherings today. People come here to participate in services and observe religious traditions that have been part of this place for generations.
