The A.M. Vasnetsov Museum-Apartment occupies two connected rooms on the third floor of a residential building in Furnannaya Lane, Moscow. It contains nine thousand items including paintings, personal belongings, photographs, documents, and period furniture that show how the artist lived and worked in the early twentieth century.

Artist Apollinaria Vasnetsov lived in the apartment from nineteen hundred three until nineteen hundred thirty-three, creating paintings and gathering objects there. The museum was established in nineteen hundred sixty-five as a memorial and later expanded to include the neighboring residence.

The artist's home reflects Moscow's cultural life in the early twentieth century, when painters, musicians, and writers gathered in residential spaces to share their work. These connections shaped the collection and the way rooms are arranged to show his daily creative environment.

The museum is open several days per week, but checking current hours before your visit is wise since they may shift seasonally.
