The hotel Volgograd

The Hotel Volgograd is a Soviet-style building situated along Mira Street with symmetrical columns and elaborately worked stone elements across its exterior. It provides guest rooms and conference facilities for visitors and business travelers.

The building was constructed in 1954 during the post-war reconstruction period and was designed by architect Aleksandr Kurovsky. It was conceived to demonstrate Soviet architectural achievement in Volgograd.
